Cuebase

Terms of Service

Cuebase is a Shipfold Labs product. These terms cover the website, the YouTube transcript API, and the YouTube transcript MCP server.

Your use

You are responsible for how you use Cuebase and for the videos you submit. You will comply with the laws that apply to you and with the terms of the services you fetch captions from. Cuebase does not grant you rights in a video, a caption track, or a transcript.

No public redistribution

Do not republish transcripts in public. That includes posting them on the open web, in a public dataset, or in a service that lets the public download another publisher's transcript. Use transcripts inside your own application or agent workflow for users who already have access to the video.

DMCA and takedown

To request removal of cached caption text, email hello@shipfoldlabs.com with the video URL, the right you hold, and a way to reach you. Shipfold Labs will review the notice and remove the cached copy when the claim is valid.

Caption source

Cuebase is not affiliated with YouTube or Google. The production fetcher calls YouTube's logged-out player endpoint through a rotating residential proxy. It does not use a Google account or a cookie. YouTube's terms restrict automated collection of captions. You decide whether your use is allowed.

The local mock provider returns synthetic text and does not contact YouTube.
