YouTube transcript API

Cuebase is the YouTube transcript API from Shipfold Labs. One request returns the caption track for a video URL or an 11 character id.

`format` is json, txt, srt, or vtt. `timestamps=true` adds times to plain text. Batch up to 10 videos with POST /api/v1/transcripts. The field list is on the API reference.

Credits

A new manual or auto caption track costs 1 credit. A Postgres cache hit costs 0. Manual tracks stay cached. Auto tracks refresh after 30 days. age_restricted, video_unavailable, no_captions, and blocked fetches cost 0 credits. Optional speech-to-text, off unless ASR_ENABLED=true, costs about 2 credits per started minute.
